Manufactured by RPE s.r.l. in Italy, the R2 valve is a 3-way exchange solenoid valve with a 90° degree body.
The R2 is designed to allow bi-directional flow with inlet pressure in the range 0 - 0,5 bar on the inlet and 0 - 0,5
bar pressure on the outlets. This allows the R2 to be used as as a low pressure supply valve/ drain valve for a tank (see data sheet).
The nominal diameter (DN) is 6 mm. Inlet and outlets are 10 mm hosetail barbs.
The R2 can be used at an ambient temperature of 0 - 60°C and media temperature of up to 90°C. The maximum
duty cycle is ED 100% (continuous duty) for fluids up to 60ºC and ED 60% at temperatures above this.
The Series R2 features a dry-armature construction, using a food-grade POM valve body and silicone (MVQ)
diaphragm and gaskets no metallic parts are in contact with the media. The valve body is assembled using a
bayonet fixing allowing for easy field servicing.
Electrical connection is by faston tags.
