Manufactured by ACL srl the 311 series are a range of stainless-steel 3 way direct acting poppet type solenoid valves. Available in 3-way normally closed, normally open and Universal versions. The Universal version can be connected as either a normally open or normally closed valve, this is especially useful in situations where field-engineers are required to fit the valve on site and where the configuration of the solenoid valve can only be decided at time of installation.

The valve body, armature tube, armature (plunger), core and return spring are produced in stainless steel, the seals are available in NBR, FPM or EPDM. These solenoid valves can be used with any media compatible with the materials of construction (select appropriate seal material!).

The maximum allowable pressure for each version is the maximum stated differential pressure plus 10%.

ACL produce both class F and class H coils to fit the Series 311, these coils are continuously rated with ED=100%, when fitted with the Class F coils the ambient temperature range is: -10°C +55°C with class H coil the maximum ambient temperature is +80°C. These solenoid valves can be mounted in any position.

These valves require a solenoid coil from the ACL Series 3 range. ACL produce two classes of coil suitable for use with the 311 valves - those with Class F electrical insulation allow the 311 to be used in an ambient temperature range of -10°C +55°C and those with class H coil an ambient temperature of -10°C +80°C. At these temperatures and at the coils' marked voltage these coils are rated for continuous service ED100%. These coils are compatible with standard DIN connectors, when fitted environmental protection is rated as IP65 with connector fitted IP00 without connector.

Options (call Beta Valve sales office for details):

Silver shading ring
Electroless nickel plating
Series 7 explosion proof coil according to ATEX - EExmII
Exhaust port with hosetail connection
UL approved coils

The 311 series of valves can be used with fluids compatible with the materials of construction with a viscosity not exceeding 25cSt (mm ²/s) this includes most common media: air, water, mineral oil based media and glycol based solutions.

The valve body is equipped with two M4 threaded mounting holes, for ease of integration into product design these valves may be mounted in any orientation.
