Normally open direct acting brass solenoid valve, suitable for air, water and neutral fluids compatible with the materials of construction.

Orifice (mm): 1.5
Pressure range(bar): 0- 23 bar
Seal type: FPM
Supplied without coil: requires Type 2 or Type 5 coil
Connector type:CNE Large for type 2 coils and type 5 coils

The Series 206 is a line of normally open (power to close) solenoid valves. These 2-way direct acting poppet type valves incorporate a brass body and armature tube. The moving armature and fixed armature (the core) are produced in magnetic stainless steel, the opening spring is also produced from stainless steel. The seal material is offered in a choice of NBR (Buna-n), EPDM and FPM.

The E206 series are suitable for use up to 50 bar** pressure for most media. The exception being steam where the maximum allowable pressure for steam is 2.5bar (gauge pressure) due to the temperature of the steam.

The valve body is equipped with two M3 threaded mounting holes, for ease of integration into product design.

The E206 series use the ACL Type 2 or Type 5 coils which offer a choice of standard direct current and operating voltages from 12v to 48v (DC) and 380v (AC). These coils are rated for continuous duty (100%ED).

ACL offer a choice of solenoid coil insulation class - class F coils which allow the valve to be used in an ambient temperature range of between -10°C +55°C and class H coils which increase the maximum ambient temperature to +80°C. For hazardous areas ATEX certified improved-safety coils are available to EExmII.

These coils are designed to be used with either DIN 46244 or DIN 43650A electrical connectors, with the connector fitted they offer IP65 protection and IP00 without connector.

Orifice sizes from 1.2 mm to 3.1 mm are available, all the valves will operate from zero pressure, the smallest standard orifice of 1.2 mm allows the valve to operate up to 19 bar.

These solenoid valves can be mounted in any position.

Several options are available (contact Beta Valve sales office) these include:

Stainless steel armature tube
Electroless nickle plating n
UL approved coils

** Dependent on valve/coil combination chosen.
