Normally closed 2 way direct acting brass solenoid valve supplied without solenoid coil, for use with air, water and other neutral fluids.

Orifice (mm): 1.2
Pressure range(bar): 0-19 bar
Seal type: NBR
Supplied without coil: requires Type 3 coil
Connector type: requires CNE small

The 205 Series is a line of normally open (power to close) direct acting poppet type solenoid valves. The 205 features a compact brass body and armature tube. The moving armature and the fixed armature (core) are produced from magnetic stainless steel.

The armature seal and armature tube O-rings can be supplied in a choice of material; NBR (buna , nitrile), EPDM or FPM.

The maximum allowable pressure for most media is 50 bar, although the maximum pressure for steam is 2,5 bar (gauge pressure) as above this the temperature of the steam would exceed the maximum allowable temperature for the seals.

Options (call Beta Valve sales office for details):

Stainless steel armature tube
Electroless nickel plating
Explosion proof coil according to ATEX - EExmII Series 7
UL certified coils

Orifice size from 1.2 mm to 3.0 mm, all the valves will operate from zero pressure; the smallest standard orifice of 1.2 mm allows the valve to operate up to 19 bar. Maximum operating pressure depends on the orifice size(larger orifice sizes reduce the maximum operating pressure), type of coil used and the use of AC or DC voltages.

Example product code: E205AB20///30B - NBR seal, 2mm orifice and a 24V DC coil

ACL's standard Type 3 coils are compatible with the 205 series , these coils offer a choice of standard direct current and operating voltages from 12V to 48V (DC) and 380V (AC). These coils are designed for continuous duty (100%ED) at the rated maximum ambient temperature.

ACL produce both class F and class H coils to fit the Series 205, these coils are continuously rated with ED=100%, when fitted with the Class F coils the ambient temperature range is: -10°C +55°C with class H coil the maximum ambient temperature is +80°C. These coils are designed to be used with either DIN 46244 or DIN 43650A electrical connectors, with the connector fitted they offer IP65 protection and IP00 without connector.
