Normally closed 2 way direct acting plastic solenoid valve supplied without solenoid coil, typically used for drinking water, beverage, low pressure air and medical applications.

Orifice (mm): 4
Pressure range(bar): 0-0.6 bar AC or 0-0.3 bar DC
Seal type: Silicone
Supplied without coil: requires Type 3 coil
Connector type: requires CNE small

The 151 series is a range of 2-way normally closed direct acting dry armature solenoid valves. This series features an Acetal copolymer body, with a choice of 1/4" BSP (G), 4mm and 6mm hosetail connections. The armature tube is produced in brass.

The moving and fixed armatures are made from magnetic stainless steel. The return spring is also produced from stainless steel.

The armature seal and armature tube O-rings are supplied in silicone.

The maximum allowable pressure for most media is 2 bar.

The valve body is equipped with two M4 threaded mounting holes. The preferred mounting position for these coil is with the coil vertical above.

Options (call Beta Valve sales office for details):

Nickel plated armature tube
Stainless steel seat insert
UL certified coils
Connection accessories available

Orifice size from 4 mm to 7 mm, all the valves will operate from zero pressure.

Example product code: E151BPS60/30B: G 1/4” inlet, hosetail DN6 outlet coil 24V 50/60Hz

ACL's standard Type 3 coils are compatible with the 151 series , these coils offer a choice of standard direct current and operating voltages from 12V to 48V (DC) and 380V (AC). These coils are designed for continuous duty (100%ED) at the rated maximum ambient temperature.

ACL produce both class F and class H coils to fit the Series 151, these coils are continuously rated with ED=100%, when fitted with the Class F coils the ambient temperature range is: -10°C +55°C with class H coil the maximum ambient temperature is +80°C.

Normally closed 2 way direct acting brass solenoid valve supplied without solenoid coil, typically used with compressed air, petrol, diesel, other oil-based fluids.

Orifice (mm): 3.5
Pressure range(bar): Type 2 coil 0-10 bar or Type 5 coil 0-20 bar**
Seal type: FPM
Supplied without coil: requires Type 2 or Type 5 coil
Connector type: requires CNE large

The 106 series is an established range of 2-way normally closed direct acting poppet type solenoid valves. This series features a hot-stamped brass body, with a choice of 1/8", 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2"BSP (G) threaded ports. The armature tube is produced in stainless steel.

An important feature of the 106 armature tube is the use of laser welding to secure the fixed armature (core) to the tube itself, this not only produces a very secure join suitable for up to 80 bar but also minimises heat distortion at the top of the armature tube. This is particularly useful for solenoid valves operating on AC as it results in valves that operate with the minimum of mains hum.

The moving and fixed armatures are made from magnetic stainless steel. The return spring is also produced from stainless steel.

The armature seal and armature tube O-rings can be supplied in a choice of material; NBR (buna , nitrile), EPDM or FPM.

The maximum allowable pressure for most media is 80 bar, although the maximum pressure for steam is 6 bar (gauge pressure) with PTFE seals and 2.5 bar with EPDM seals (above these pressures the temperature of the steam would exceed the maximum allowable temperature for the seals).

The valve body is equipped with two M6 threaded mounting holes, for ease of integration into product design the these valves may be mounted in any orientation.

Options (call Beta Valve sales office for details):

Electroless nickel plating
Stainless steel seat insert
Manual override
Version for use with oxygen
UL certified coils

Orifice size from 1.5 mm to 6.4 mm, all the valves will operate from zero pressure, the smallest standard orifice of 1.5 mm allows the valve to operate up to 80 bar.**

Example product code: E106AB20/30B: 1/8" threaded ports, NBR seal, coil 24V 50/60Hz

Two ranges of ACL's standard coils are compatible with the 106 series the Type 2 and Type 5, these coils offer a choice of standard direct current and operating voltages from 12V to 48V (DC) and 380V (AC). These coils are designed for continuous duty (100%ED) at the rated maximum ambient temperature.

ACL produce both class F and class H coils to fit the Series 105, these coils are continuously rated with ED=100%, when fitted with the Class F coils the ambient temperature range is: -10°C +55°C with class H coil the maximum ambient temperature is +80°C. These solenoid valves can be mounted in any position.

** Dependent on valve/coil combination chosen.
