Normally closed 2 way direct acting stainless steel poppet type solenoid valve supplied without solenoid coil, typically used with air, water, steam and other neutral fluids compatible with construction.

Inlet: 1/8" BSP female
Outlet: Push-on for pipes Ø6x4
Orifice (mm): 1mm
Pressure range(bar): 0-50 bar AC/DC standard voltages OR 0-8.5 bar using low voltage DC coil
Seal type: NBR
Supplied without coil: requires Type 3 coil
Connector type: requires CNE small

The 130 series is an established range of in line normally closed direct acting poppet type solenoid valves. This series features a stainless steel body and armature tube. The plunger, core and the return spring are also produced from stainless steel.

The armature seal and armature tube O-rings can be supplied in a choice of material; NBR (Buna, nitrile), EPDM or FPM.

The maximum allowable pressure for most media is 50 bar**, although the maximum pressure for steam is 2.5 bar (gauge pressure) as above this the temperature of the steam would exceed the maximum allowable temperature for the seals.

Orifice size from 1.0 mm to 1.5 mm, all the valves will operate from zero pressure; the smallest standard orifice of 1.0 mm allows the valve to operate up to 50 bar**. Maximum operating pressure depends on the orifice size(larger orifice sizes reduce the maximum operating pressure), type of coil used and the use of AC or DC voltages.

Options (call Beta Valve sales office for details):

Mounting bracket
Version for use with oxygen
Special coil powers
UL certified coils

ACL's type 3 coils are compatible with the 130 series of valve, these coils offer a choice of standard direct current and operating voltages from 12V to 48V (DC) and 380V (AC). These coils are designed for continuous duty (100%ED) at the rated maximum ambient temperature. Low power coils are also available, 2W or 3.5VA.

ACL produce both class F and class H coils to fit the Series 130, these coils are continuously rated with ED=100%, when fitted with the Class F coils the ambient temperature range is: -10°C +55°C with class H coil the maximum ambient temperature is +80°C. These solenoid valves can be mounted in any position.

** Dependent on valve/coil combination chosen.
