The F550 series provide a high quality dispense solenoid valve for hot and cold water drinks vending applications. The F550 is designed for hot and cold water vending applications where the duty cycle is 50% or less,
The F550 has also been used in applications where contact between the media and metallic materials is undesirable. The silicone seal and polysuphone body materials are resistant to many common chemicals.

The F550 design has been proven and refined over many years with the valves offering long term durability even in areas with hard water, the F550 series is designed to resist the problem of lime scale build up on the valve seat which leads to annoying dripping.

All the materials in contact with the media are certified for use with food and hot water.

Four body versions are offered:

Type 1 - F550S80/1 no vent or flow control.
Type 2 - F550S80/2 with vent, no flow control.
Type 3 - F550S80/3 with vent and flow control.
Type 4 - F550S80/4 no vent, with flow control.

These valves can be supplied with a number of standard alternating current and direct current voltages. The solenoid coils are of high quality being automatically tested during winding and then re-tested when the final assembly of the solenoid valve is complete.

Applications

The primary application for this type of solenoid valve is hot or cold drink dispensers, but they also find use in other applications where either hot water or food products are being controlled this includes tank drains in steaming equipment, automatic animal feeding equipment.
