Beta Valve has manufactured solenoid valves for the vending and drinks dispense industry for over twenty years. Since 1992 we have produced our own range of dry-armature dispense solenoid valves for both hot and cold water applications. Supplying these to vending machine manufacturers for use around the world has given us unrivalled experience in the selection and supply of valves for vending use. As well as dispense valves we can supply a wide range of WRAS approved mains water inlet valves. Our standard range includes single, double, triple and quad valves all available in a wide choice of standard AC and DC voltages. These valves often include the option of hosetail or push-fit pipe connections. We also stock liquid level switches, flow sensors and push-fit pipe fittings, all in food grade material suitable for potable water use.

E550/F550 - 8mm Orifice Solenoid Valves

Designed for demanding vending applications where the solenoid valve is expected to operate with an intensive duty cycle. The E550 is suitable cold water all versions of the E550 are rated for continuous duty making this valve suitable for many non-vending applications (the E550 has been used in equipment such as hydroponics and scientific instruments). The F550 series solenoid valve is a specialised valve especially suitable for hot water vending use in hard water areas. . Both the E550 and F550 feature an 8mm diameter orifice, this and the 90º flow path ensure that the 550 offers excellent flow characteristics for this class of valve. The F550 is especially designed cope with the build-up of lime scale. The E550 and F550 types are available with optional flow control and vent tube. The solenoid coil can be fitted with a DIN style IP65 connector.

R550 - Cost-effective 8mm Orifice Solenoid Valves

The R550 is a line of cost-effective solenoid valves for cost vending machines. Four versions of the valve body are available – with and without vent tube, and with and without flow control. The wetted materials of construction are approved for use with potable water. The R550 series are our most popular vending solenoid valves; they provide a unique combination of proven design, high quality material and low cost. Over the past fifteen years we have shipped these valves to vending machine makers around the world.

E355/F355 -Vent-after-Vend Dispense Solenoid Valves

Beta’s unique vent-after-vend series of valves is designed for high-performance vending applications. The use of an active air vent which closes when the valve is dispensing water and immediately opens when the main orifice closes allows the 355 valve to be positioned at the top of the vending machine hot water tank allowing the valve to vend water from the hottest layer at the top of the tank. The placement of the valve at the top of the tank also means that the water in the outlet pipe gathers sufficient kinetic energy as it flows downward to ensure excellent ingredients mixing either in-cup or in the mixing bowl.

The 355 series are available with a choice of two orifice sizes 8mm and 12mm. 8mm is intended for dispensing hot water direct into a cup (for tea or dehydrated ramen-style meals), the higher flow-rate for the 12mm valve is designed to suit in-cup vending machines where the high flow makes for more aggressive mixing of the ingredients. The 12mm size is also well suited to jug fill applications, the higher flow rate reducing the time spent filling the container.

E155/F155 - High Flow 2-way Dispense Solenoid Valves

Developed from the vent-after-vend valve, these two way normally closed solenoid valves offer dry-armature (media separated) construction for high flow vending applications. Available in both 8mm and 12 mm orifices these solenoid valves offer higher flow rates than the 8mm E550 & F550 valves.
