Orifice: 15mm
Seal material: PTFE

The ACL P152 Series is a line of 2-way normally closed pneumatically operated angle seat valves with ISO G connections sizes from 1/2” to 1”G (BSP), NPT threads are available on request.

The main advantage of the angle seat configuration is that compared with other valve types it gives a high flow rate with low pressure loss.  The working fluid enters the valve below the valve seat which eliminates water hammer and also resists back flow through the valve.

The body and the 50mm diameter pneumatic actuator are both produced in AISI 316 stainless steel making them suitable for use with aggressive media and food products.   The extensive use of stainless steel also makes the valve suitable for use in areas with a corrosive atmosphere.

The actuator incorporates an optical position indicator to allow correct operation of the valve to be visually confirmed.

To simplify installation the P150 can be mounted in any orientation and the pneumatic actuator can be rotated to give the most convenient orientation for making pneumatic signal connections which are 1/8”G female thread.  The pilot signals can be provided with either dry or lubricated air or suitable gases and neutral fluids.  Gaskets within the actuator are produced in NBR.

To minimise maintenance the P150 features self-adjusting packing glands using PTFE and FKM seals for long life and maximum chemical compatibility.

The P152 series uses a PTFE main seal and has been designed for use in the applications that include: automation, heating, water, hot water, steam (<180°C), aggressive media and food products.  These valves can handle media with a temperature range between -10°C and +180ºC in an ambient temperature of -10°C to +60ºC.
