Seal type: NBR

The series P107 comprises a range of 2-way normally closed pressure operated valves with servo-assisted diaphragm. The P107 represents an excellent compromise of easy control & application versatility. Available from G3/8” up to G1” it offers to the customers the possibility to control pressure lines up to 15 bar with a remote control ensuring stability and safety in the switching operation.

The P107 Series has the same valve body of the established servo-assisted solenoid operated valves called E107 Series. The only difference is within the piloting system. The similarity between the series has been maximized to reduce the number of new components, to preserve the reliability of the standard actuation system and to improve its availability. Because of ACL’s experience in producing this type of valve the P107 series will operate from a minimum differential pressure as low as 0.15 bar (approx. 2psi).

For the diaphragm ACL offer a choice of seal materials – NBR (Buna, nitrile), FPM (FKM) and EPDM. Nitrile provides a cost-effective seal for air and water use, FPM is well suited to vacuum and mineral oil based media while EPDM is suitable for water, hot water and glycol based fluids, EPDM should not be used with oil based liquids

Actuation process of the P107 valves

The valves are controlled by a remote switching system: to control properly the P107 Series it is necessary to adopt a 2/2 NC pilot valve with a minimum nominal diameter of 3.0 mm connected to the piloting connection M5. We suggest using a 105 series valve such as the E105AB31.

Valve actuation - The switch of the pilot valve will exhaust the pressure above the membrane. This will allow the opening of the main membrane and the start of the fluid flow.

Valve closing - Once the pilot is closed the pressure above the membrane will rise and as soon a minimum value is achieved the valve will move the membrane in the rest position closing he fluid flow. Minimum differential pressure 0.15 bar, maximum allowable pressure 25 bar. The maximum allowable pressure PS for steam is 2,5bar (gauge pressure). Maximum fluid viscosity 25cSt (mm ²/s).

Options (call Beta Valve sales office for details):

Electroless nickel plating
Version with slow closing diaphragm
Version for vacuum applications (air/gas)
Version for use with oxygen

The series P107 can be used with fluids compatible with the materials of construction with a viscosity not exceeding 25cSt (mm ²/s).
