Requires a seperate clean pressurised water supply for the solenoid pilot. The solenoid operator is not exposed to the dirty water.
Seconda (Second) Series solenoid valves are produced in Italy by RPE s.r.l.. These 2-way latching solenoid valves offer 1 1/4" BSP male threaded inlet and outlet ports.
The operating pressure range of 0.5 – 10 bar (7 – 145 psi) allows them to be used on mains water pressure, providing a cost effective and low power consumption solution to the task of automatic water control. The Seconda Series can be used with water temperature up to 60ºC.
Electrical connection is by faston tags.
The valve body is moulded in polyammide 30% fiber glass which provides a durable yet lightweight valve. The diaphragm seal, solenoid armature seal and O-rings are produced in NBR (Buna). Internal metal parts are produced in stainless steel. Construction of the valve uses screw fixings to allow for in-service inspection and cleaning when required.
The Secona Series are available in normally-closed, normally-open and latching (bistable) versions.
The Seconda Series solenoid valves are efficient and durable providing a cost effective and reliable method of controlling water flow in a wide range of uses, including but not limited to small-scale irrigation of terraces, greenhouses and nurseries, ornamental water features and small gardens.They have the manual control valve without flow regulator that allows the opening and closing even in the absence of current, ensuring the discharge of water inside.
