Data Sheet/Certifications:

Terza (Third) Series solenoid valves are manufactured in Italy by RPE srl, a world leader in the design and manufacture of quality solenoid valves. These 2-way normally closed types can operate over a working pressure range of 0.5 to 10 bar (7 - 145 psi) and effectively handle fluids with a temperature of up to 60ºC.

Inlet and outlet pipe connections are by 1" BSP (G) male threaded ports. The orifice size for the valve is 25-mm.

The solenoid coils are available in a wide range of standard ac and dc voltages, all coils are rated for continuous duty (ED 100%) in an ambient temperature range of 0 - 60 ºC. Electrical connection is male fast-on tags.

The valve body is moulded in glass reinforced nylon which provides a durable yet lightweight valve. The diaphragm seal, solenoid armature seal and O-rings are produced in NBR (Buna), versions for drinking water make use of materials approved for potable water, these valves are identified by the use of white material for the lower half of the valve body. Internal metal parts are produced in stainless steel. Construction of the valve uses screw fixings to allow for in-service inspection and cleaning when required.

The Terza Series are available in normally-closed, normally-open and latching (bistable) versions. Electrical connections can be by male Fast-on tags 6,3 x 0,8 mm, or unipolar flying leads, or (to special order) by bipolar cables with a maximum length of 5000 mm.

The Terza Series solenoid valves are efficient and durable providing a cost effective and reliable method of controlling water flow in a wide range of uses; from irrigation, where they are suitable for watering large areas such as sports grounds, municipal gardens, agricultural and small gardens, to applications in water-saving devices, water treatment and general industry. Approved versions are available to allow direct connection to the municipal water supply in many international markets.
