The 1175BB latching solenoid valve assembly comprises a 1175C solenoid valve from the R-Mini Series range of plastic solenoid valves manufactured by RPE s.r.l., fitted with two John Guest NC480 15mm push-fit fittings. The use of these fittings allows the valve to be quickly installed on 15mm copper tube to EN1057 or Speedfit plastic pipe to BS7291. These cold water solenoid valves have been tested by Kiwa Watertech and are certified to be, when installed correctly, compliant with the requirements of the Water Supply(Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 for England and Wales, the Water Byelaws 2014, Scotland and the Water Regulations Northern Ireland. The certification allows for a maximum working pressure of 5 bar and a maximum water temperature 60°C. The minimum operating water pressure is 0.2 bar. These solenoid valves provide a cost effective and low power consumption solution for automatic water control in battery powered applications, such as water saving devices and electronic taps. The valve body material is glass-filled nylon, the diaphragm seal is produced from NBR (Buna). Electrical connection is by faston tags.
