Beta Valve Systems are now stocking the new 700 series of direct acting plastic solenoid valves from RPE srl.
A feature of these valves is the simplicity with which they can be cleaned, the solenoid coil and armature assembly are secured onto the body by a bayonet mechanism and they can be easily separated by simply twisting and pulling the two apart.
The new valves are available in three versions:
- Normally closed
- Normally open
- Latching (bistable)
These valves are available with a 1/4"G (BSP) male threaded inlet or outlet ports or a John Guest push-in fittings for 4 mm, 5 mm or 6 mm tubing.
The valve body is manufactured from glass filled nylon with Buna seals.
Since these direct acting valves do not rely on a servo effect for their operation they can successfully be used in applications where there is little or no pressure. Maximum operating pressure is up to 10 bar (depending on configuration and orifice size).
The valve orifice size is available in sizes: 1.6 mm, 2.2 mm and 3.0 mm
The solenoid coil can be supplied for all common ac and dc voltages, the latching valve will operate from 9v – 12v dc. Electrical connection can be made by spade connectors or flying lead.
